OCEANFRONT COTTAGE

The Oceanfront Cottage renovation began with a need to repair or replace an existing home with water issues and a dated stucco exterior. After careful study, it was determined that due to strict site and zoning restrictions a full renovation of the existing house would be the best solution to meet the client’s needs, rather than a new build. Using the existing massing of the building all of the exterior finishes were replaced in an effort to give the home that classic beach cottage style. This continued throughout the interior where the floor plan was reworked to capitalize on ocean views and layers of trim, millwork, and architectural detailing were added to elevate the interior.
