This new construction project was designed for a couple with grown children who are downsizing and returning to the city after living in the suburbs. They wanted a home that could blend in with the surrounding neighborhood, appearing as though it were an old house that had been renovated, much like the other homes nearby. The house was built on an urban lot that previously had a vacant, deteriorating structure.
